ME Vs. ME

There are two different sides to me..

One is good..one is bad

One is happy..the other is sad

One is sane..the other a li'l mad

One is shy..other is fun

One likes stars..the other loves sun

One desires peace..the other favours gun

One is timid..the other is bold..

One lets go..other just holds..

One longs for destination..the other strives for road..

One is dark..the other is fair

One wants isolation..the other needs care

One is mundane..other is rare...

There are two parallel worlds existing within us

very distinct from each other-never meeting at a point

and the conflict is a never ending one..

It doesn't even matter which side won

All that counts is you are honest and true..

Whatever be the situation...you remain "you"

Desires

Trying our best for success and failures to blend

but,we as humans have wants that never end..

No matter how much we try to live in the face of reality

there is a world within us-beyond practicality...

A world free from calculations and hazards

with no fear to live upto those facades...

where emotions and thoughts are free flowing

and the desires of our heart keep us going...

Desire to fly,with our wings spread wide

Desire to be protected,with loved ones by our side...

Desire to walk with stars for miles and miles

Desire to be the reason for someone`s happiness and smile...

Desire to be the rain for a quenched land

Desire to be the comfort for a lonely hand

Desire to be the vision for someone who cannot see

Desire to be that someone, you can never be...

The doors of life may take us for a toll

But, desires remain the window to our soul..

What is so special about moments??

A pat on your shoulder,when you are low
Little dreams that help you grow..
Dancing in the rain and getting wet
Away from studies,but playing with pet..
A hug from your mother,after you had cried
Scolding from father,just when you lied..
Looking at photos and you can`t stop smiling
Taking a day off,even when work is piling..
Saving pocket money to buy friend`s gifts
Having fun ans someimes indulging in tiffs..
A call from a friend,just when you are out of words
Music in the air and chirping of birds..
Love and care from that someone special
Hopscotch on terrace and playing with pebble..
Tired coz of life`s neverending hurdles
Courage to strive and warmth of a cuddle..
All these moments make a living
Its not about taking but also giving
Share the magic of these moments for awhile
and spread happiness...to miles..

I do not have words
to express how i feel...
our bond is pure, and
there is an eternal seal...
I wish the two of us
were far away...
together in happiness
with no sorrow at bay...
soaked in the colours of love
that never fade...
like angels in `heaven`
that are perfectly `made`...
people may make efforts
to part our ways...
our feelings are true
we are here to stay...
Along the path,
there may be darkness and pain...
But, with our courage
we would find ways to gain...
whatever be our fate
lets promise to be with each other...

MY MIRROR-REFLECTION OF MY THOUGHTS

Sitting by my window at night
my eyes saw a beautiful sight...
the moon gave away dim light
and...THOUGHTS flowing in seemed so bright...
I put on my magic robe
and began flying so high....
my horizons came near me
as I now touched the sky...
I entered into the world of fantasies
and found everything happy around...
the harsh realities were lost somewhere
only love and purity made a sweet sound...
the moon,the stars.. the angels
ALL lived merrily together...
I wished this message could trail down
and change earth`s present weather...
Cherishing its flavour
and thinking it to be my `chocolate-pie`...
I forgot that my fancy surrounds a bubble
that had to eventually die...
Its time we take the step
no matter what may be at cost...
let no person get a chance to say
that..."OUR PARADISE HAS BEEN LOST"...
